Chip manufacturer BEPPCO, operating in Iraq, offers natural potato chip products under the Mr.Krisper and Mito brands. To optimize potato quality, this season BEPPCO will open a new state-of-the-art potato storage facility that can provide optimal conditions for potatoes for processing at all times.
The cold stores were built on an area of 5332 m2 divided into 10 storage rooms, and it is one of the largest cold stores in Iraq, with a storage capacity about 10,000 tons. The capacity of each room reaches more than 1,000 tons. The temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration are controlled by a control system that can be accessed at multiple points. All these devices operate with a fully automatic system and an environmentally friendly refrigerant.
