Sustainable paper bands and machine systems now also in Italy

Italian companies that also insist on the ecological aspect of packaging now also have direct access to environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable paper bands, for example for their vegetables, fruit and other. Project S&P and the Sgorbati Group from Brescia have entered into a sales partnership for the ecological banding system Proband V.

The presence in the market for over a century and the 30 years of experience in vegetable processing have allowed Sgorbati Group to develop great flexibility, resilience and ductility to work with the excellence of the sector, also thanks to a network of global suppliers of the highest level.

“With the Proband V1000 system from Project S&P, we are adding another impressive product to our portfolio. The special thing is the innovative quick-change frame. Different band widths can be processed with just one frame. We were also convinced by the eco option! We can now offer our customers banding material that consists of 95% paper and can therefore be disposed as paper waste after use”, reports Alberto Sgorbati, Sales Manager of the Sgorbati Group.

“We are looking forward to working with you! The Sgorbati Group is one of the top addresses when you think of Italy and automation topics in the vegetable sector, ”emphasizes André Vois, who is the product key account manager responsible for the Proband V-system at Project S&P. “We like the approach of the Sgorbati Group to offer customers tailor-made and effective solutions! Because that's how we think at Project S&P!"
