Kwik Lok adds to board of directors

Microsoft principal project manager Jeff Mendenhall has joined the board of directors for Kwik Lok Corporation based in Yakima, WA. Mendenhall is a seasoned technology leader with a passion for developing new products and businesses which leverage emerging technologies and the power of collaboration.

“Jeff’s addition to Kwik Lok’s board of directors brings many opportunities to expand our innovation, collaboration and technology initiatives. As a global company, we are working to find innovative ways that help our customers make the most of our systems and expand the value partnerships can bring to our global community ” said Kimberly Paxton-Hagner, Kwik Lok board chair.

Mendenhall has been with Microsoft on two tours of duty since 2005 and has served in a variety of roles. Initially, he served as the product unit manager where he led a team that developed a master data management and customer data integration platform which generated $200 million in the first year. He then went on to join Microsoft Research and launched the eXtreme Computing Group to invent new technologies for the cloud, leading the program management, business and strategy team, with a focus on external global partnerships.

In addition, Mendenhall held the position of global managing director for enterprise innovation where he was the head of Microsoft’s Innovation Outreach Program comprised of 35 Global 2000 companies. More recently, he was the senior director for the Industry Project Management Group where he launched a new team geared toward driving cloud adoption in key industries. Currently, Mendenhall serves as the product leader for Applied Artificial Intelligence Services with Microsoft’s Azure Cognitive Services.

Mendenhall is a graduate of Oregon State University. He, his wife and two daughters split their time between the greater Seattle area and Cle Elum, WA. Jeff and his family love to golf and travel the world.
