Westmoreland/Topline™ Farms is excited to announce a 25-acre expansion at their Flavor Fresh Farms greenhouse in Leamington, ON. Flavor Fresh began production in June 2021, helping Westmoreland/Topline meet growing demand for greenhouse-grown produce.
The combination of their state-of-the-art packing system and two successful growing seasons have allowed Westmoreland/Topline and Flavor Fresh to confidently transition into phase 2/4 of their expansion plan. The new build gives the companies 50 acres to work with, with plenty of room for future growth.

The technology in Flavor Fresh’s new facility will help drive Westmoreland/Topline Farms’ focus on providing locally grown produce to retailers throughout the winter months. The new greenhouse will include supplemental lighting using high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamps. This gives Flavor Fresh the ability to grow premium-quality vegetables 365 days of the year.
For year one, Flavor Fresh will produce long English cucumbers, with plans to add several varieties of tomatoes in the future.
