The British company, Proseal has expanded its product portfolio. It's launched a fully automated, high-speed packaging system for crates and boxes. Proseal's new CP3 complements its extensive range of tray sealers. Now they can offer customers a complete packaging solution. The CP3 Case Packer combines not only efficient power consumption and a compact size. It can also fill crates and boxes at a speed of up to 120 packs per minute.
The key to the CP3's performance is its ProMotion tray supply system. This uses 'following motion' and has intelligent buffer technology. That maximizes throughput by effectively controlling the tray flow. These trays are fed non-stop into the case packer.
The CP3 can handle a wide variety of packaging formats. These include A-PET, C-PET, and cardboard trays, buckets, and sandwich packaging. Automatic tool technology enables fast, easy format changes. The Quick Release (QR) system also allows for quick removal and replacement of the conveyor belts. That speeds up and simplifies cleaning and maintenance.
Proseal Case Packer - CP3
This new case packer has the same high construction and durability levels as Proseal's leading tray sealers. It incorporates many of these machines' advanced features. These include the ProTect contactless login system. This provides different authorization access levels for individual users. It's fully compatible with the ProVision OEE and downtime analyzer too. This gives a comprehensive real-time view of machine performance. Installation and daily operation are also simplified, thanks to the menu-driven control panel.
There are various optional add-ons. These include additional crate filling and a longer buffer belt for higher speeds. You can customize the crate infeed and outfeed conveyor belts. These are designed for individual factory layouts. The CP3 can be fully integrated with additional equipment too. These include box folders, existing conveyor systems, labelers, and coders.
"There are qualities that have made our tray seal machines so successful. All of these are included in our new Proseal CP3," says Nick Severn, Proseal's Control Systems Engineer. "For food producers, it's the perfect addition. It ensures rapid, efficient throughput that meets those strict retail deadlines."
