Greece: Renti Vegetable Market digitalization welcomed

Traders have already shown great interest for the new "e-Vegetable Market" application from the Central Vegetable Market of Renti, which enables parties to make their purchases which with one click on their mobile.

“The digitization of the Market is an imperative need, it is the future. Via the application, all traders can make their order,” said  the CEO of the Central Markets and Fisheries Organization, Apostolos Apostolakos. "The application is in its infancy, the first 30 companies have already been posted, which have also had their physical headquarters in Renti."

For our part, due to the convenience that the technology of these applications gives us for unlimited upgrades, we aim to adapt the application according to the needs of buyers and sellers. At the same time, we plan the utilization of new technologies, which will contribute to the more efficient and effective operation of the Market ".

"The application came as a response, after a research in which 60% of our employees, showed great interest in e-commerce while at the same time the 55% reported ignorance of the matter. So we took this initiative will modernize Rentis' market and reduce external competition. This digital sales system is an imperative it gives many advantages to the merchants, it works 24 hours a day covering geographically the whole country, it is the future.
