Slicing vegetables is a labor-intensive task. Also, it mostly has to be done within a short amount of time. It's time-consuming, boring work. And staff who are willing to do it are becoming increasingly scarce. There must be a different, better way, thought the folks at the Dutch company, MCR Machinery. That's why they developed the MCR slicing belt.
"It makes even trimming and slicing of carrots and other oblong vegetables a breeze. It also processes vegetables into smaller pieces of equal portion," says William Mol of MCR Machinery. "These are vegetables like leeks, chicory, and potatoes."
"As well as parsnips, spring onions, courgettes, and cucumbers. So companies can, therefore, add value to their products. They can offer their customers evenly cut products - ready for further processing or preparation."
"It's very easy to adjust the slicing length and number of slices. So, there are endless slicing options. Switching for the next order can be done in no time too," William concludes.
