Futura srl operates in the field of fruit and vegetable selection and gauging

New markets in Central Asia for the Italian company Futura srl

Despite the fact that 2020 has been a year full of difficulties and the same will almost certainly be true of 2021 due to the aftermath of the pandemic, the Futura company has continued to carry out all the development projects previously planned for both R&D and business development areas.

"We are proud to announce that at the beginning of April we opened our new Futura Central Asia branch in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. An official inauguration ceremony will be held when the health crisis is over. For some time now, we have been following the Central Asian markets with great attention, but in order to have greater control and proximity, especially in these times when travel has become much more complicated, we believe it is vital to be directly present".

At the moment, three technical-commercial employees have been recruited, but in the future, there will certainly be further recruitment. From the Tashkent office, Futura reaches directly not only Uzbekistan, but also Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and will also coordinate the activities of the partners of the various Russian offices.

"The sales manager of the division has been working with us for a few years already. His background is perfect for coordinating and developing the Uzbek branch. All our employees are local, so they can travel freely to all the countries we work in, without the need for visas where required. Moreover, from the Tashkent airport, we can easily reach all the destinations that are strategic for us in about one hour's flight and very often by car, when needed."

"In addition to the new commercial branch, we have already established several customer service centers in Central Asia. In parallel to the Tashkent office in Uzbekistan, we are in Krasnodar, Russia. The main reasons that led us to invest in this area are many. Certainly, the production of fruit and vegetables both in open fields and in greenhouses is continuously increasing and, in order to be able to export them, they need sizing and packaging lines".

"Our technologies, completely made in Italy and adapted to process all types of fruits and vegetables produced in the area, perfectly match the local needs. We are committed to high quality, flexibility and tailor-made solutions, with simple and user-friendly features. All the software for the management of the lines is in local language and easily telecontrolled, so that our customers are never left alone".

The company has already planned to attend the following trade fairs:

AGROTECH-EXPO Tashkent - Uzbekistan, 28-30 June 2021    MACFRUT Rimini, Italy, 7-9 September 2021                    AGROWORD Almaty - Kazakhstan, 3 to 5 November 2021  YUGAGRO Krasnodar - Russia, 23 - 26 November 2021            FRUIT LOGISTICA Berlin - Germany, 9 - 11 February 2022
