Tandou mangoes from Guangdong exported for the first time

After passing the inspection and quarantine procedures carried out by Xiahai Customs, a shipment of Tandou mangoes was sent to Shenzhen before being flown to Singapore on the 9th. This is the first time that Tandou mangoes are exported.

Tandou mango is a product under the protection of China’s National Geographical Indication Certification, named after its main production area, Tandou Town, Leizhou City, Guangdong Province. Rich in fragrant and juicy in texture, appealing in shape and high in quality, sweet and delicious, as well as rich in protein and vitamins and other nutrients and trace elements, the fruit produced there is are very popular with consumers. The local planted area is 52,000 mu, with an annual production value of about 490 million yuan, which makes the mango industry a major pillar industry that helps local growers to increase their income.

It is reported that the first shipment exported to Singapore contains 200 cartons of about 500 kilos, worth over 30,000 yuan. Liu Ding, head of Huajing Company, said that in order to expand the brand influence of this product, the available volume will be increased so that consumers all over the world can have access to the best Tandou mangoes.
