A tomato grower from Cheshire has welcomed the impact of its partnership with Aldi. APS Produce started supplying goods to the supermarket in 2010. Now it delivers more than one million punnets of tomatoes to stores across the country every week. Certainly, the partnership has helped the tomato supplier enjoy strong growth, with the volume of products increasing over the years and allowing for continuous expansion.
Group development director Philip Pearson said: "We are proud of our partnership with Aldi and it's been a great pleasure to supply its customers with our tomatoes for the last ten years. We've built a strong relationship with the Aldi team who continuously help us to explore new ways to grow and develop as a business, giving us a steady stream of demand and, perhaps most importantly, business stability."
Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK, told insidermedia.com: "APS Produce has been a trusted partner over the last decade and it has been great to see the business go from strength to strength. The partnership we have built is invaluable and we look forward to continuing our work with them."
