On Tuesday, June 1st 2021, IBEB-EU made official the new Bremia BI:37EU race in Europe. Gautier Semences already offers a range of Bremia Bl:37EU-resistant varieties on the market of course, as well as lettuce-resistant to Fusarium Fol:1 and/or Fol:4, for maximum safety.
Aware of the major challenge which this new BI:37EU strain represents for crop safety, Gautier Semences has been mobilized for several months in a race against time against the fungus’s new generation and already offers a panel of lettuce resistant to Bremia BI:37EU to help lettuce producers fight against the offensive.
Vascular fusariosis is also a threat that is becoming increasingly concerning for lettuce crops. Gautier Semences is developing research programs to control this disease efficiently and offers a selection of varieties resistant to Fol:1 and/or Fol:4 to go even further in securing your next campaign.
These varieties resistant to Bremia BI:37EU and Fusiarium Fol:1 and/or Fol:4 are presented in two new documents: the Shelter Lettuce brochure season 2021/2022 and the Lettuce Resistance Objective leaflet for field lettuce.
