Tests at an orchard near the Wiley City section of Yakima have returned 45 positive COVID-19 test results. According to the Yakima Health District, health officials were notified of 45 COVID-19 cases stemming from Gilbert Orchards on Thursday. All employees are being required to take a test every three to seven days.

Gilbert Orchards is expected to require staff testing until 14 days after the last positive test was identified. Additional cases must be reported to the YHD so they can provide additional resources and guidance to help curb the outbreak.
