Aroma's new sales manager wants more people to choose high-quality fruit and vegetables

A priority goal for the new owner Sjöson is to strengthen Aroma Frukt & Grönt's sales and marketing function. Now as the first new recruit, Anna Wallman, steps in as sales manager, the company has a popular leader who looks after the customer's needs in all situations and who wants to make more people discover that high-quality fruit and vegetables provide better taste experiences.

The trend of eating healthy for better health and increased well-being is today stronger than ever and I think that with my previous experiences I will enhance our offer in new, exciting ways", says Anna Wallman.

Aroma Frukt & Grönt was founded in 1996 and has always striven to be a wholesaler that offers the best service and the highest quality. In connection with a generational change, the company's remaining owners recently sold a majority share to the company builder Sjöson in Gothenburg and now the company is going on a rapid offensive. With a stable foundation that is based on long-term relationships with both suppliers and buyers and with a flexibility that few others can offer in the industry today, Aroma is ready to switch up the business side as well. Through customer-specific solutions, the company will help the grocery trade and restaurants to meet the increasing consumer demand with Anna Wallman as the responsible person.

Background as both chef and handball player
With a background as a team captain in handball, team sports and team building have always been close to Anna Wallman. When she chose a career, however, her interest in the food and drink industry took over. She trained as a chef and became a restaurant manager. Ten years ago, she went on to the grocery store. With good results in terms of breaking new ground, increasing sales, further developing the organization and not least being a much-appreciated leader, it was easy for Aroma to choose Anna, something that CEO Hans Bågenholm confirms.

"I am happy that we have been able to recruit Anna Wallman who comes in with broad experience, a lot of energy and a great focus on the customer's needs and the quality requirements we have. She has a passion for sales and will contribute both fresh eyes and new knowledge to our already experienced team. It gives us the opportunity to think new and meet our customers' needs in new ways," says Hans Bågenholm.
