The Dutch trucking company, Angvik Auto Holland, has welcomed a new team member, Jan van Marion. "Jan's made quite a mark in the fruit and vegetable sector. He has years of trucking experience to Norway and the rest of Europe. So, we're delighted that he, with all his experience, is joining our team," says Remco van der Spruit.
"We've been expanding rapidly since June last year. In December, Patricia joined our return planning team. And by recruiting Jan, we want to take the next step in our export planning." The Angvik group has offices in the Netherlands, Norway, and since recently Lithuania. It also has its own vehicle fleet. The transport company runs its own customs department in both Norway and the Netherlands.
"We safely take care of the necessary customs documents. We then become a complete service provider. We manage the whole package for clients. That's from preparation to Norwegian customs. Thanks to our customs experience, we can offer solutions for imports from the UK too," says Remco.
He's proud of his team's past and future commitment and cooperation. "That's from our warehouse staff who take care of our clients' loading, and transshipment needs to the people in planning, sales, accounting, and human resources. Not to mention the drivers who, as a team, take care of the daily shipments. That's to and from Norway from various countries, naturally including England."
"Fortunately, COVID-19 hasn't affected our company much. We, therefore, hope to continue to grow. And by having Jan join our team, we can also be prepared for the future. That's if we can get past this crisis," Remco concludes.
