WAPA report shows apple and pear stocks for March 2021

Germany sees 15% less apples in stock compared to 2020

The World Apple and Pears Association has released an update on the Northern hemisphere stocks. According to the data, Red Delicious and Gala apples are currently the apples that are most in stock when it comes to the United States. Poland is doing much better this year, almost doubling the amounts of apples in stock compared to last year. Germany on the other hand has about 15% less apples in stock compared to 2020.

When it comes to pears, the United States has similar volumes in stock compared to 2020, with Anjou being the dominant variety. The total pear stocks in Europe are 25% higher now than they were in 2020, with the top 2 countries, Belgium and the Netherlands both seeing higher stocks now than they did a year ago.
