On the afternoon of February 24, the market for storage garlic in Jinxiang remained low. Supply increased slightly and traders had different attitudes towards selling. Some sellers were insistent on their prices being met while some took the initiative to sell.
Products needed to be cleared urgently or poor quality products were marketed at bargain prices. Buyers filling rigid demand were average in their willingness to purchase and were picky and offered low prices. Products being sold were mainly processing materials of garlic cloves and mixed grades, and sales throughout the day were average.
The mainstream price dropped by about 0.02 yuan throughout the day. Prices of large mixed grades were 2.50-2.56 yuan/ half a kilo, and processing materials of garlic cloves were sold at 2.30-2.35 yuan/half a kilo.
