Avocado supply to the EU in week 7 still dominated by Spanish and Israeli shipments

Week 7's avocado supply to the EU was still dominated by Spanish and Israeli shipments. Spain shipped a total of 876,000 4-kg cartons, of which 815,000 were Hass avocados.

The shipments from Israel to Europe amounted to 652,000 cartons: 194,000 cartons of Greenskin avocados and 458,000 units of Hass avocados.
