Tridge, a global sourcing hub concerned with cross-border trade, has released its latest report on the most significant events within the agri industry for 2020. It includes information on the impact of Covid-19 on various agri markets.
The report by Tridge provides a brief, yet comprehensive overview of 2020, as well as an outlook for this year. The report focuses -among other thing- on trade tensions between China and Australia, the trade war between the US and the European Union over olive oil exports, bans on Indian onion exports and the suspension of South African citrus exports.
It also looks at the effects of wildfires on the apple harvests in the US and Canada, the global rise in commodity prices and the booming markets for Chilean cherries and US avocados.
