"Mangos are very delicate to process"

Because mango is a very tender piece of fruit, it's often peeled by hand. The main USP's of ZTI's machines are longer shelf life and a better yield. 

Shelf life: Because the mango is held on the stone with a sharp fork, it can stay completely intact. The peeling knives of the machines are equipped with Elastosprings. They prevent too much pressure on the fruit during peeling. The Elastospring is a ZTI invention, a specially developed blue rubber spring for ZTI food processing machines. Blue rubber is very easy to track in case it breaks down and much easier to clean than ordinary metal springs. No bruising or damaging here!

Yield: Peeling is done with what we call 'thin peelers'. Only the peel is removed and not a millimeter of the fruit is wasted. Furthermore; hand-peelers use a straight knife to remove the stone and they can't follow the curve. Our machines can.
