Young, fresh, innovative and committed - that is the guiding principle of Swiss fresh food brand Sylvain & CO. The label, which was created in 2012, has been part of the internationally active Eisberg Group for two years and has been run by an overarching management team together with Eisberg Switzerland since September of last year. The brand is rapidly gaining in importance, especially in Swiss retail and convenience markets as well as in neighboring parts of France, the Eisberg Group reports.

In just its first two years of existence, Sylvain & CO - then part of the Manor Group - saw sales increase by 35 percent. In 2016, the selection of sauces was significantly expanded, followed a year later by the introduction of the Croq'Menu range. In 2018, Eisberg - a subsidiary of Bell Food Group - acquired the innovative convenience brand. Over the past two years, the label has expanded to include other new products, such as sandwiches and botanical water.

Currently, Sylvain & CO employs 200 dedicated people, and the growing company's production site is located in Essert-sous-Champvent. "Sylvain & CO is dedicated to fresh enjoyment with a wide and dynamic fresh convenience range. We strive to regularly launch innovative and new products to provide our consumers with an authentic, convenient offering that allows them to eat fresh every day," Katrin Geisthardt, spokesperson for Eisberg AG, explains.

The company's principles are in harmony with its dishes, she says: "We take care of our employees, nurture our products and look after the physical well-being of our consumers: At Sylvain & CO, we don't tell fairy tales. Only our salads are fairytale-like."
