Thanks to a specific control unit that detects approximately fifty parameters at once, the new green asparagus harvesting machines by Bagioni Technology can be controlled remotely, wherever they are in the world.

"We have been working on this 4.0 project for a few years now, and in 2021 we will have the first harvesting machines available for sale," explained Aurenzo Bagioni. "The advantages of remote management are twofold, as we can control the machine at all times, which makes it easier to detect anomalies and manage maintenance, and secondly, the entrepreneur can see instantly all the information about the production".

For example, the asparagus harvested is instantly stored by the software and, as a result, those who manage the harvest know how much product is available, without having to wait for the entire harvest to arrive at the packaging center and then being weighed.

"Thanks to this technology we can reach the core of the system and check the battery status, the efficiency, the resistances and the voltages of the control unit, the average speed of the machine by adjusting its settings, as well as its position (useful against theft, ndr). The applications are many, at a very low cost".
Tests have been going on for some time now, and the first Bagioni Technology machines equipped with this system will be available for purchase as early as the beginning of 2021.
