In 2021/2021, Moroccan citrus yields are expected to reach 2,3 million tons. That's an increase of 32% compared to the previous season.
This increase is based on more planted or newly planted trees coming into bloom. And on new irrigation systems that will compensate for 2020's long dry spell.
There should be 30% more mandarins to 1,2 million tons. Orange yields are expected to reach 1,1 million tons, a 27% increase. And the lemon and lime harvest will likely rise to 44.000 tons.
