Vegpro Kenya has opened a Dutch sales office. It's called Fresh Flow. The business has been operational since October. Its primary focus is marketing Vegpro's own avocado crop. Fresh Flow is currently partnered with other large-scale growers around the world. The company offers a wide range of products. These include limes, mangos, ginger, lychees, and sweet potatoes.
Over the past two years, Vegro has planted 200 hectares of avocados. It plans to expand production further and develop new markets through Fresh Flow. The avocados are sold under two brands. The Premium line is sold as Just Avo's. The others are sold as Sian avocados. "This controlled production and processing mean we can offer ready-to-eat avocados," says Ron Jongejan. "These are in both net packaging and loose."
"We have just received our first containers of avocados at Cool Control in Maasdijk. We can also arrange air freight shipments. These will be sent to Amsterdam's airport. That provides us with an excellent logistical starting position. We can offer our clients the flexibility they need. We meet all the necessary quality standards and certificates. That includes GlobalGAP and SMETA. The products are cultivated based on sustainability, eco-friendliness, and reduced water usage," Ron concludes.
