China: Qingdao gets rooftop greenhouse for research purposes

Imagine building a greenhouse on a roof in your city. In Qindao, it is coming and will be put into use in few months. The research and isolation greenhouse project, designed and constructed by Kingpeng, will then be put into use.

The project is located in Qingdao, China, and the main body of the project construction greenhouse is about 10,000 square meters. The greenhouse is built on the second floor of the house (the house is a steel structure, 8.4m*8.4m), divided into 20 test areas.

The greenhouse belongs to the isolation greenhouse in the high-level greenhouse. Each partition configuration includes the greenhouse main body, covering material, natural ventilation system, wet curtain-fan cooling system, air internal circulation system, external shading system, internal shading/heat preservation system, and side insulation system. High-pressure mist spray system, lighting system wiring, water supply and drainage system, computer automatic control system, power distribution system, etc.

The greenhouse is built on the roof, with limited space for construction and material stacking, which increases the difficulty of construction and has higher requirements for on-site operation scheduling capabilities.

Kingpeng’s construction team has very strong scheduling capabilities to keep the plan” said the Manager Mr. Wang of the Buyer. Inspection and isolation greenhouses have higher requirements for light, moisture, temperature, humidity, pressure and automatic control. Each greenhouse area can choose to work in different environments of positive pressure, negative pressure and normal pressure, and has an independent computer control system for scientific research and experimentation.
