Between August 1 and November 23, Georgia has exported 5,045 tonnes of apples worth $2.2 million. This was stated in an announcement of the Georgian Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection.
The volume of apple exports is 12 times higher than it was in the same period of 2019, while the value of exports increased by $1.9 million. Georgian apples were mainly exported to Russia (4,884 tonnes). Georgian apples were also exported to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
