Fellini Patrizio, a brassica specialist from Romagna, producing around ten varieties, reports that exports are increasing.
"Sales are regular and proceed as planned, although there is no rush to buy. Prices are within the norm. We try to differentiate the supply in order to meet all buyer demands from abroad as well," commented Lamberto Giovanardi and Andrea Pignato from the sales office.

Classic white cauliflowers see the most quantities. Fellini cauliflowers are available in films, which consumers see as a positive thing in the current climate.
"Kale is getting more popular due to its nutritional properties and is sold in 200 gram packets. All the produce is Italian and comes from members of our cooperative. Kale is still being produced in Romagna, but the season has almost ended. Our partners are located in various parts of the peninsula, so brassicas are available at least until March."
Purchases of orange, purple and green cauliflowers are increasing. "We are focusing more and more on 'Io riciclo' cardboard boxes, which are appreciated for their sustainability and aesthetic. Colored cauliflowers are niche products, though they are getting more popular. Sometimes people buy them because they are appealing, but they actually have nutritional qualities that must not be underestimated."
"Puntarelle, which are sold in 250 gram packets, are also practical and excellent for a variety of recipes. They are grown in Italy as well."
