Nicola Leone, honorary president and founder, died

Mourning in the Carton Pack family

The Leone family, grieving for the tragic moment, announces the death of Nicola Leone, honorary president and founder of Carton Pack SpA, on 25th October 2020 at the age of 77. He had been leading the Apulian group for fifty years, actively contributing to the realization of his entrepreneurial dream, even in recent times.

Born in Rutigliano in May 1943, he dedicated his whole life to his family, work and entrepreneurial development in his territory. He has always shown a strong bond and great generosity. Always close to people's souls and ready to welcome everyone with a hug and a smile, he will be remembered for the love with which he dedicated himself to the growth of Carton Pack, his "third son" as he loved to call it.

Nicola Leone has always lived in close contact with his collaborators. He considered them as a "big family", transferring to them a deep sense of duty, respect and inclusion that distinguished him.

His staff remember him as follows: “He was a generous patriarch, humble and extremely human with everyone; an entrepreneur who was dedicated to the social development of his territory, and one who has always been committed to giving an opportunity for growth and fulfillment to those who wanted to contribute with a spirit of group solidarity.”

Driven by a great vision, he led his company to establish itself in the national industry with great balance, sacrifice and an innovative spirit. In addition to an unbridgeable void in the souls of those who knew him personally, Nicola Leone leaves a strong message of perseverance, professional commitment and trust to the future generations.
