Exportaciones Aranda has been around since 1960. This Spanish family business is located in Piles, Valencia. It lies on the Mediterranean coast between GandÃa and Oliva, in the heart of the Safor region. This year, Managing Director, Salvador Aranda, celebrates Filosofo's 60th anniversary. That's a milestone in the fruit industry. Many brands come and go in this sector.
From the very start, Exportaciones Aranda has had a singular focus - to meet their clients' needs. As a result, many of these clients have been working with Aranda for 30 to 40 years. That proves their confidence in Filosofo. Willem Dijk AGF is one of those partners. They market Filosofo in the Benelux area.
This Dutch company has been very proud of Filosofo for years. They regularly take clients to Piles to show them how things work there. An authentic brand, experience, and involvement drive the entire thing process. This year, Exportaciones Aranda has modernized its packaging line. That's resulted in a fresh-looking, attractive new crate.
"We'll unload the first Oronules next Monday. They'll be in roughly 6kg packs. These fruits are selected by taste and color. We'll also be getting the traditional 10kg packs of Okitsu and Clementine. On 26 October, we unload the first Filosofo Navelina. That's a week later than expected. Night temperatures aren't really what they should be yet," says Ronnie Moorman of Willem Dijk AGF.
