Fresón de Palos obtains the AENOR certification for its action protocol against COVID-19

Fresón de Palos has become the first company in the Spanish berry sector to obtain the AENOR certification for its action protocol against COVID-19.

The Huelva-based company, a European leader in the production of strawberries, has strengthened its extensive plan of preventive measures aimed at protecting the health of employees, producers and suppliers and guaranteeing food safety and ensuring the supply of its products throughout the season.

The AENOR seal to protocols against COVID-19 is an external endorsement of the suitability and effectiveness of the measures enforced by the company against the coronavirus. At the same time, it confirms that these initiatives comply with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health, the National Institute of Safety and Health at Work and other sector guides.

The AENOR evaluation looked into every aspect of Fresón de Palos' action against the coronavirus, including the established and applied protocols, the training and information provided to its personnel, the management of waste and the organizational measures in place to minimize risks and ensure the continuity of business.
