Organic chili pepper takes root in the Cabo de Gata Natural Park

Naturchac, a company from Almeria located in the heart of the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Park, has incorporated a new product to its catalog of organic products: ecological chili peppers.

The chili plant, native to warm and tropical climates, adapts very well to the cultivation conditions of the company's farms. “We are very proud of the results we are getting and expect to have an excellent harvest in the coming months,” the company stated. The organic chili harvest began in August and it will continue until December.

The production is distributed in the Spanish market and will also be exported throughout Europe, where there is a great demand for this product, especially in countries such as Denmark, England, and Germany.

The acceptance of this vegetable and its demand have grown exponentially in recent months, making it a star product in the markets. Its use in Mexican cuisine is very popular, where its spicy and intense point serves as a counterpoint to all kinds of flavors and preparations.

Chili peppers also have very interesting nutritional characteristics, such as their content of vitamins A, C, and minerals. Organic chili also stands out for its capsaicin content, a compound with digestive properties that is rich in antioxidants.
