Vertuo (DRCE9613)* the new De Ruiter cucumber variety

"This spring is blooming with choices"

This spring, growers will have more choice in terms of Spring cycle cucumber varieties. Autumn 2020, De Ruiter launches Vertuo (breeder reference DRCE9613)*, the new De Ruiter cucumber for spring crop for France for Umbrella and "V" cropping systems. Vertuo is a newcomer for spring with a high yield potential, high fruit quality and good behavior against Powdery Mildew (IR Px).

Vertuo has a yield potential confirmed by three years of data collected in France. Moreover, the variety has a steady development of lateral shoots for a stable yield throughout the season. This feature enables the optimization of the planning for labor, picking, packing and selling.

In term of fruits, Vertuo has consistent high-quality fruits throughout the season, showing a nice green uniform color with an average fruit weight and length in line with market requirements.
