On the 29th of September, the CMA CGM group, interrupted all internal access to its network and computer application in order to isolate the malware and take protective measures, after the company was hit by a cyberattack.
It has since reported that all communications to and from the CMA CGM Group are now secure, including emails, transmitted files and electronic data interchange (EDI). Maritime and port activities are fully operational, as well, and the booking functionalities remain up and running.
Yesterday, the Group continues issued a statement that all its subsidiaries were to be fully mobilized to restore all its information systems.
Today, cmacgm-group.com reports that the back-offices (Shared Services Centers) are gradually being reconnected to the network thus improving the bookings’ and documentation’s processing times. Updates will be provided regularly as the situation evolves.
