Rockit Global announces key partnership with Indian Suri Agro Fresh

In a move that further amplifies Rockit Global Limited’s reach into India, the innovative New Zealand apple company has announced a partnership with Suri Agro Fresh.

Suri Agro Fresh is one of the largest fresh produce companies in India, importing quality fruit and vegetables from across the globe and distributing into the sub-continent.

Rockit Global’s GM of Global Sales, Grant Walsh, says the fit with Suri Agro Fresh is ideal. “We at Rockit Global are very pleased and proud to have entered into an agreement to partner with Suri Agro Fresh in India,” he says. “The values and ambitions of both organisations are completely aligned to making Rockit™ a success in this market.”

Rockit Global has had its eye on the discerning Indian consumer market for some time, and earlier this month signed a global ambassador agreement with Kiwi cricketer and Indian Premier League sensation Kane Williamson, who will promote Rockit™ on his bat during the 2020 IPL season.

“India is a market that Rockit™ has not previously opened up so to have this happen in 2020 as part of our global road map is very exciting,” continues Grant. “We believe that Rockit™ will carve out its own part of the produce category in India and bring the consumer a new and delicious experience. Suri Agro Fresh is the right partner to help us execute this.”

The agreement between Rockit Global Limited and Suri Agro Fresh was inked on 19th September 2020, which also marked the beginning of the IPL calendar.
