cartoPaper paper packaging developed further

"100% recyclability contributes to strong sales promotion"

The environmentally friendly and plastic-reducing packaging concept cartoPaper® of flexographic printing company cartomat has been optimized once again. At this point in time, the particularly stable, breathable paper is available in different grammages, says the management of German developer cartomat LLC, based in Willich.

The unique paper has been tested over a long period of time and has proven itself in many ways, reports Cornelia Grips, spokeswoman of the Willich-based manufacturer. "Both a superior stability and an impressive appearance are convincing us to continue to use this paper. It is brilliant and can be printed in high resolution, and it feels soft. The promise is to recycle 100% of the paper packaging, which contributes to strong sales promotions."

Environmentally friendly, effective and market-driven packaging
Both the cellulose netting and the individual perforation allow for good transparency and sufficient visibility of the products. "Depending on the type of product, package size and type of packaging, we recommend and advise our customers individually with optimum paper strength, design, shape and size." The innovative packaging process offers every packer of fruit and vegetables new possibilities for environmentally friendly, effective and market-driven packaging. "Our solution is also gaining in importance beyond national borders, especially in France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy."

Expansion of the packaging portfolio
Other elements of the packaging portfolio have also developed further, as in the mean time, cartoPaper® can be used for horizontal packaging with trays (perch or ilapak) and cartoPaper-lid® was developed for closing trays, Ms Grips explains.
