Available to large-scale distribution and wholesalers in Italy and abroad

Last few weeks for Rubysole apricots

"There is not much product available, but we have enough quantities to test it at large-scale distribution outlets or wholesalers who request it". This is what Mirco Lessi from the commercial management of Albisole Società Agricola Guidi said of the apricot campaign. "The frost in April left very little in the field, but we have some red apricots which are very appreciated for their organoleptic characteristics."

Roberto Guidi and Mirco Lessi, commercial management

Roberto Guidi echoed his words, saying that "We are consolidating our presence both in Italy and abroad. There is not much product, but the quality is high. We are able to satisfy all those who want to know more about our products."

The over 300 hectares of apricots are located in various areas, from the hills to the valley, where the early April frost hit with different intensity, "For this reason we were able to save the product - continued Guidi - which will allow us to market for a few more weeks, thanks to the maturation at diffrent times. In addition, we covered nearly 200 hectares with anti-hail and anti-insect nets, making it easier to produce Residuo Zero especially on early and medium-early varieties."

2021 will be a turning point. "For a couple of years now we have been introducing our apricots - concluded Lessi - whose organoleptic quality, exterior appearance and wholesomeness have been the hallmarks. In 2021 we are aiming for continuous supplies of a certain size, especially considering that we will have all our 300 hectares in full production."
