The export season of honey pomelos from Fujian is set for mid to late August despite changing weather conditions in the production areas earlier this season, which has had a certain impact on production and growth, as well as the recent drought and high temperatures. "White pomelo is a category traditionally exported from Fujian. Since a few years ago, red pomelo began to gain popularity in the overseas markets and many growers switched to this variety or other varieties seeking higher profits. As a result, the planted area of white pomelos has been decreasing year by year. In addition, due to weather conditions, the fruit set rate is slightly lower this season. In general, the production of white pomelos in Fujian is slightly lower this year while that of red pomelos is roughly the same as in previous years.”
Europe, North America, and the Middle East are major overseas markets for Xiamen 4 Seasons Import & Export Co., Ltd. "We are currently in contact with overseas customers.
