"Conditions in the export market for Chinese pears are improving"

"The Chinese fruit market has been weak this year as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. However, conditions in the export market for Chinese pears seem to be improving. The export volume shows a slight increase. There are several reasons for this development. First, the product quality of Chinese pears is excellent and that is why they are so popular with consumers across the globe. Second, fresh pears help to moisten the throat and lungs, which in turn reduces the risk of infections." This is according to Mr. Bai of Dalian Nongchang International Trade Co., Ltd.

"The export season of Chinese pears officially begins in early July. Our pears mainly come from Hebei, Shandong, and Shaanxi. We export several varieties including the Emerald pear, Fresh Pear No. 7, Imperial Crown pear, and Ya pear. We estimate that the export season will last until the end of next April."

"Various production areas in China suffered from extreme weather conditions in the last few months. In the end, however, our pear orchards did not suffer the consequences of poor weather because we manage our own orchards. We have years of experience in the prevention of damage from poor weather conditions."

Workers select pears

"We mainly target overseas markets in Europe and North America. However, when we sell our pears, we do not sell them under our own brand name, we supply clients who add their own brand name. We develop our products together with our clients to protect the profit margin of clients and retailers. Our motto is to work together and grow together."
