The French peach season started 4 weeks ago with exceptional precocity! More than 23,000 tons have been harvested since the beginning of the season, and the input is up 33% compared to the same period last year, and 20% of the production is already harvested.
The lifting of the lockdown and the spring rather than summer weather in many regions make for a complicated context, so producers decided to boost sales through promotional actions on the radio. From Wednesday, July 1st until Saturday, July 4th, 30 ads will be broadcast on RTL radio during primetime, generating 6 million contacts/day.
The promotional ad will promote the Eco-friendly Orchard peaches in particular, whose reputation is still growing. According to the last CSA reports on trust levels for fruit and vegetables ordered by Interfel and FranceAgrimer, 46% of the participants mentioned the Eco-friendly Orchard logo, 35% chose fresh fruit and vegetables, and most importantly, the trust level reached 79%.
This brings great satisfaction and a nice reward for the work of the producers!
