Chinese Joy Wing Mau Group celebrates 23rd anniversary

The Joy Wing Mau Group organized a festive ceremony in the Shenzhen Activity Center on the 8th of June, 2020, to celebrate their 23rd anniversary. Employees in branch offices across the country connected via video-calls to join in the festivities.

Liao Maohua, chairman of the board and founder of Joy Wing Mau, looked back on 23 years of development: "Joy Wing Mau started out 23 years ago as a small company with barely more than ten employees. Today we employ more than 5 thousand people and we take our social responsibilities serious. We enthusiastically contribute to the national effort to support farmers and we are eager to participate in charitable activities for the benefit of social welfare. We have invested much time and energy to promote the plantation of new fruit varieties, innovate plantation technology, and stimulate agricultural development across the country. We acknowledge our social responsibility and work hard to perform this duty well. The company is now one of the leading companies in China's fruit industry and our name is well-known in the international market too."

Zhang Jian, director of the Joy Wing Mau Group, looked back on the core strengths that gave the company its competitive power in the Chinese fruit industry. These core strengths include specialized teams, an open company culture of honesty and support, as well as the combination of production areas across the globe and a distribution network that covers China. These three competitive strengths are not easily duplicated in a short time, which gives the board confidence in the future of the Joy Wing Mau Group. The company culture is honest, comes down from the top, and makes a clear distinction between public and private interest. The company values a culture in which promises are made and fulfilled.
