"The first harvest of seedless Chinese lychee will enter the market on the 15th of June"

"The price of seedless Chinese lychee from Guangdong is expected to remain stable this year"

"The seedless lychee is one of the more expensive lychee varieties in the Chinese market. Production areas in Hainan, Yunnan, Guangxi, and Guangdong all grow this variety. Our seedless lychee come from Guangdong. The first harvest of this year will enter the Chinese market on the 15th of June. Supply will continue until the end of the month." This is according to Mr. Shen Minghan of Shen Guo Guo Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd.

Farmers harvest lychee

"Everybody knows that lychee production areas in China will enjoy an abundant harvest this year. The price is expected to fall far below the price levels of last year, especially when the lychee enter the market in large volumes. However, the seedless lychee is a unique variety and the price is therefore expected to remain stable this year. The price of one box (2.5 kg) is around 246-1,198 yuan [34.73-169.13 USD] depending on size and product quality."

Seedless lychee

"The seedless lychee have been popular in the Chinese market for many years. This is not just because this lychee variety is seedless, which makes eating them convenient, but also because the sugar content of this variety is very high. The sales of seedless lychees proceed without difficulty every year. That is why the price is expected to remain stable and the sales are expected to proceed without a problem, even when the lychee market is quite weak."
