Advice&Consulting continues to aim to spread the agronomic know-how in the CIS countries, to help companies grow in the management skills of intensive orchards and to actively contribute to the development of the fruit sector in those countries.
In light of this, the company announced that the new theoretical-practical agronomic training course will take place from 9 to 19 December 2020 in Italy at the headquarter in the province of Bologna.
The course, which will be in Russian, is aimed at agronomists and entrepreneurs of fruit companies in the CIS countries, and will focus on the apple orchards and will treat topics such as the projecting of the intensive orchards, the main diseases of the apple tree, in particular scab and nectria, the management of water resources, pruning techniques based on varieties, how to select quality seedlings, the correct use of the atomizer, how best to harvest and preserve fruit, and a focus on strawberry and cherry trees will also be covered.
Unlike last year, more practice will be carried out in intensive and experimental orchards and less classroom theory. And, for example, by popular demand, participants will be trained to calibrate the atomizer well and will also be able to perform test drives in the orchards.
In recent months it has been necessary to change strategy and study new ways to offer the agronomic consulting service, which has always been the plus of Advice&Consulting, and to continue to be constantly alongside companies, Advice&Consulting have started organizing weekly technical webinars held by their agronomists, where they deal with current issues for fruit growers, such as the assessment of cold damage and chemical thinning.
The great interest and active participation found in the webinars have confirmed the trust of the fruit companies of the CIS countries in Advice&Consulting and allow them to make very optimistic predictions about the feedback at the next training course in December.
