Asparagus grower Walter Gubbels discovers special curly green asparagus

Asparagus grower Walter Gubbels from Helvoirt came across a special specimen on his asparagus field this morning. This curled version of the green asparagus could almost be included as an art object. The photo with the white asparagus clearly shows the size of this specimen.

"I have never experienced this before. A real surprise from nature," says the grower. Specifically breeding for curled asparagus is not yet being discussed...
