Sinclair announced the appointment of John Rogers to the position of Commercial Director of North America. Based in Fresno, CA, John will be integral in leading the company’s North America Sales and Marketing team, Customer Service team, as well as continuing to oversee the North America Finance department.
John joined Sinclair in 2011 as Finance Controller for North America and in 2017, John was promoted to the Director of Finance. John’s vision and experience are a perfect fit for Sinclair’s North America future goals and objectives. Colin Woodward, President and CEO of Sinclair commented, “John shares our values, customer focus and drive for continuous improvement. His prior experience and contributions to Sinclair make him a perfect fit for this role which will help Sinclair continue to grow with new products as well as forge and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.”
Before joining Sinclair, John was the Finance Controller at the POM Wonderful pomegranate facility in Del Rey, CA. John also has a personal connection to the fresh produce industry – his father has been farming in the Central Valley for over 50 years and at 90 years old, is currently growing peaches and almonds. “Growing up in agriculture and having several friends who are farmers and even customers of Sinclair, has given me insight into the demands and challenges the fresh produce industry faces every day,” says John.
With the support of Sinclair Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams, John will focus on Sinclair’s customer experience and commercial growth in North America; leveraging Sinclair’s labeling equipment, technical service expertise and extensive label portfolio, which includes certified compostable food-safe labels.
