Grupo Agroponiente has completed the reorganization of the company's commercial area with the incorporation of Raúl Medina Gutiérrez as the new director of its Commercial Department.
Medina says that “accepting the role of commercial director of a company like this entails a number of challenges, since the firm has been recognized as a leader in fruit and vegetable production in Andalusia and Spain, but it is also involved in a transformation process, aiming to become more international oriented.”
Regarding innovation, one of the targets will be to “further strengthen our reputation in the field of nutrition. At Grupo Agroponiente ‘we sell health’ through nutrition and that is an unquestionably important value. Companies in the sector have a responsibility when it comes to promoting that healthy lifestyle, which consists, among other things, in having a balanced diet and consuming what our growers produce. We are going to assume that responsibility from an innovative perspective.”
The company's balanced and gradual transformation is another of the key points on which the commercial department is going to work, because “we are starting from a position of leadership in the local production, and the goal is to expand beyond that. Our scope as a company will be international, but without ever forgetting our roots in Almeria,” says Raúl Medina.
To achieve this, the new commercial director will rely on the talent and experience of its professionals. "We want to have the best people in each position.
