FLM Harvest announces $75,000 “Seed to Succeed 2020” pro-bono program

Bringing passion and energy to support organizations with lean resources, FLM Harvest announced a call for entries to its Seed to Succeed 2020 pro-bono program. Nonprofits committed to causes in food and agriculture markets are encouraged to apply to win a total of $75,000 of in-kind agency services. One winner will be awarded in early August.

Through Seed to Succeed, FLM Harvest – a strategic consulting, marketing and communications agency specializing in the food and agriculture segments, including organizations along the produce supply – works with the selected grant winner to identify, define and achieve one or more marketing objectives through its integrated service offerings, including research, marketing strategy, advertising, creative services, digital, social media and public relations.

“The industries we support are filled with pioneering and innovative nonprofits working diligently with limited resources to make their fields a better place,” said Laurie Fleck, president and CEO of FLM Harvest. “We are excited to once again offer Seed to Succeed to these organizations, and our entire team looks forward an exciting collaboration in the months ahead.”

Since its 2009 start, Seed to Succeed has supported a variety of nonprofit groups such as Project EverGreen, AgChat, Farm Journal Foundation, the Partnership for Food Safety Education and Southern Peanut Growers.

One of last year’s winners was Grow North MN, a resource and connection hub for Minnesota's food and agriculture entrepreneur ecosystem. Its former Executive Director Lauren Pradhan expressed appreciation for FLM Harvest’s commitment to her community and aspirations through the Seed to Succeed partnership.

“I am really impressed with the drive and dedication the team brought to the work and how they did everything they could to help make our event a success,” she said. “Now more than ever, organizations with lean resources can use an encouraging, helping hand and a committed partner.”

Organizations interested in applying for the Seed to Succeed 2020 partnership can learn more and begin applying today by clicking here. Applications are due by 5 p.m. CT on June 30, 2020. The grant recipient will be announced in mid-August with work beginning in September.
