Nufri has recently launched a new format: 4 and 6-piece trays of Livinda Apples. "The idea is to improve the food safety and make the product more trustworthy for both consumers and distributors, and at the same time, to convey motivational messages to the consumer through stickers,” says Ignasi Argilés, director of production and trade at the firm.
The company believes that: "the current situation has led and will lead to changes in the action of buying; it will make us internalize certain precautionary measures. Also, the customers demand greater added value even more now, as well as healthiness and sustainability. Moreover, the demand for domestic products is on the rise."
At the same time, in the face of the fear caused by the pandemic, Nufri is responding with responsible messages calling for calm.
Backing the initiatives already being carried out by the Nufri Group, four motivational stickers have been created with messages of encouragement as #hashtags for all their consumers:
The messages are: "We will resist", "We'll feed this country together", "We'll get through this together" and "Everything will be OK". The stickers will be featured in all boxes.
Trying, once again, to stay close to the consumer, Livinda has made a pledge: for each apple with a motivational sticker sold, the cost of the sticker will be donated to a non-profit foundation devoted to research against COVID-19.

Nufri is also launching the Livinda blue sticker for retail. The new color will respond to the commercial demands of supermarkets.
