"Our objective was to supply kiwifruit that is ready to eat so, with the help of our single companies, we developed a produce storage and management system under the La Grande Bellezza Italiana (Lgbi) brand," explains sales manager Stefania Ponso.

"The campaign has almost ended, with sales peaking in January and February. Demand has been lively during the past few weeks as well but, despite the little produce available, we continued to sell at the same price."
La Grande Bellezza Italiana kiwifruits were commercialized in cardboard trays covered with biodegradable film containing 6 fruits. Feedback was great as the packaging manages to protect and maintain the quality of the fruit.
"Italian produce must be rewarded and we tried to keep all our promises. The remuneration for producers was in line with expectations and we worked hard to supply consumers with fruit that stands out and is repurchased time and again."
