Last week, Trofi and Trofi Pack started up at its new site in Den Hoorn, the Netherlands. "The packing line's first half is now operational. The rest will follow this week," says Harry van der Hout. The office staff has also already moved to the new location.
Trofi/Trofipack built the new DC with Van der Helm. It is in the Harnaschpolder business park. This 40,000m2 building is strategically located adjacent to the A4 highway. This fulfills the Trofi Group's wish. They wanted all their activities under one roof again. Now, TrofiPack can access over 3,000 pallet spaces, refrigeration space, and 500-pallet capacity ripening cells.
With Trofi Pack, the companies want to serve a select clientele. But, from A to Z. "From sea freight and transport to customs, packing, and order picking. We have a customs division. That is thanks to our partnership with Van der Helm. That broadens our service range. We now also have room to service more clients," concludes Harry.
