"Work shifts and breaks have been staggered to favor social distancing. We applied the protocol signed by the government and social partners providing the measures to counter Covid-19. Social distancing, the use of PPE, taking the temperature of all incoming workers and specific personnel training are not enough to tackle such a pandemic. Therefore we have been sanitizing the premises at the end of every shift. Changes have been put in place also when it comes to external personnel (drivers, couriers, suppliers, etc.)."
"We are also trying to continue with our normal activities, so we keep working to develop our products. A few weeks ago, in fact, we launched the new Salinaro Gourmet oblong tomatoes, which are now available in red, orange and yellow."

"Salinaro Gourmet tomatoes are young, cheerful, colorful and for real connoisseurs. They are the result of a careful varietal selection, a blend of varieties skilfully combined: they are all different but have a distinct flavor. They are grown in the Vittoria, Acate and Santa Croce Camerina municipalities, are harvested by hand and taken to the packaging facility within 4 hours. There, they are checked and placed in R-PET packets."
These tomatoes have an intense color with shiny reflexes, a moderately sweet flavor, fleshy yet thin peel and a fresh flavor. They are ideal to make appetizers, salads, first courses and side dishes." As they contain few calories (23 Kcal for 100 grams), they are also suitable for those on a diet, also thanks to the presence of carotenoids (lycopene and alpha-carotene), potassium, phosphorous, vitamin C, vitamin K and folates.
