Fruitsy Inc. and First Fruits Marketing work to supply Indian market and retail

Fruitsy Inc., previously operating under Bloom Global Corporation, and First Fruits Marketing began their partnership over 5 years ago with the goal of developing supply into the Indian market and retail sector.  Fruitsy Inc., the Toronto Canada-based global fruit supply chain management corporation, and FirstFruits Marketing in Washington State have been able to grow and strengthen their relationship over the years including a successful launch of exclusive club varieties.

“Although we are witnessing a global economic slowdown, the Indian appetite for high-quality fruits from across the world is growing faster than ever,“ says Vivek Dhume, the founder of Fruitsy Inc., “The partnership with FirstFruits is deepening our engagement as the sole fresh produce supplier for future retail in India. The organized retail sector is still in its infancy, but market penetration is increasing across Tier II and Tier III cities with the consumer seeking a global experience. This is just one of many international partnerships Fruitsy is entering. What we are setting up is the blueprint for the fresh produce segment for the next several decades."

Fruitsy Inc. is in process of building similar representation out of other origins and have established offices in USA, Canada, Chile, Italy and will continue to further expand into more markets.

FirstFruits President, Chuck Zeutenhorst and Senior Manager Jason Fonfara echoed a similar sentiment. "India is among the world's most important markets,” Zeutenhorst said. “And it is invaluable for us to have a partner like Fruitsy Inc. to help us navigate the cultural and logistical complexities of doing business in India.”

“A lot of our competitors are hesitant to enter India for these reasons, but we feel confident with Fruitsy Inc. and Vivek Dhume by our side."  added Fonfara.
